Dear Friends of Haiti.

Some of you already know and may even have visited our friend and fellow servant of Jesus in Haiti, Eddy Destine.  Eddy is the Founder and President of Foundation Good Samaritan in Action (FGSA), a medical clinic and community health outreach ministry in the community of LaPlaine, near the capital city of Port au Prince. 

Before founding this ministry 5 years ago, Eddy worked for Claude Noel and Partners for Haiti for 13 yrs as the assistant to the director of the Bethany Child Sponsorship program. He has also been a leader in the Nazon Baptist Church where our FCCO work teams have stayed for years.

Eddy will be visiting the U.S. for a week, later this month.   He will be here in our area from Wed. Oct. 22nd – Sun. Oct. 26th and I am currently seeking to develop opportunities for him to meet with potential supporters to share his current ministry and vision for FGSA.  We are planning to host a brief presentation with opportunities for Q&A on Sun. Oct. 26th 12pm-1pm in room D at FCCO. We will offer a light luncheon as well.  Will you please consider joining us?
