LEAD PASTOR

     The First Congregational Church of Ossipee (NH) is a Christ-centered, Bible-based, evangelical congregation of about 700. Our church is multi-staffed, utilizing a gift-based lay-led ministry.  Our mission is to "Make Disciples of Jesus Christ".  Our Vision is "to be a regional church, caring for people, drawing them to Christ, and building Christians to maturity."  
     We seek a teacher of God’s Word, who understands the need for personal prayer and worship, and who is an example of a vibrant, growing life in relationship with Jesus Christ. This Lead Pastor loves people, is able to effectively lead the effort to equip believers for ministry, possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills for building staff and lay ministry teams, and will team with the leadership to seek God’s vision and direction for the church.  We prefer candidates with at least ten years pastoral experience and a Masters of Divinity degree or equivalent education.  
     We are located two hours north of Boston and at the gateway to New Hampshire's beautiful White Mountains and Lakes Region.
