Sunday Morning - 9:00 & 10:30 AM

9:00 Worship Service & Sunday School

Grades 7-8 – Room F
Grade 9 & up – The Gathering in Room C/D

The Gathering: A Community of the Word is our newest intergenerational Sunday morning community for high school students and adults. In this dynamic community, you’ll explore God’s Word through interactive discussions and meaningful reflections. We aim to build a community where we grow together, learn God’s Word together, and walk together through life. Whether you’re new to the Bible or seeking to deepen your existing knowledge, The Gathering offers a welcoming space for all. This fall we will be studying the gospel of Luke, followed by the book of Acts. Join us each week as we embark on a journey of faith, discovering the transformative power of God’s teachings and sharing in the joy of walking through life together.

10:30 Worship Service

Students in grades 7 and up worship with their families during this service.

Wednesday Night - 6-8 PM

Grades 7-12 – Cafe 58

7th and 8th grade students, will not want to miss a power packed series as they dig into the foundations of their faith in Alpha. This series is designed specifically to inspire students to engage in meaningful discussions about faith and life’s biggest questions.

Our Beta group, designed for all 9th graders and high schoolers who aren’t ready to dive into a committed discipleship group, will challenge students at all levels of faith on a more drop-in basis. This year, they will be studying the book of Luke.

Discipleship groups are for high school students in 10th – 12th grade who want to take their faith to the next level in a committed group that will challenge them with deep weekly discussions and opportunities to integrate their faith deeper into their daily life.

No matter where your child is in their faith, each of these groups will allow them to take the next steps in their journey.

About Student Ministries

Student Ministries is dedicated to seeing students in grades 7-12 begin and cultivate a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ fueled by His Spirit to actively love and serve those around them for God’s glory.

Our goal is to support parents in raising disciples by providing a safe Christ-centered environment where students can explore and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, fellowship with like-minded peers, invite others into what God is doing, and find their place of service in their local church and community through the support of caring leaders.

We pray that each student connected to FCCO Student Ministries events, programs, and relationships engages with God in a real way and is challenged to follow Christ authentically, love those around them sacrificially, and share the Holy Spirit’s life-changing power with those around them

Joseph Wasson

Joseph’s journey with FCCO began in childhood, growing up in both the Children’s Ministry and Student Ministries. In 2018, he entered into a season of one-on-one mentoring with former Director of Student Ministry, Joel, which—together with his time serving at Camp Sentinel—helped confirm God’s call on his life to minister to students and young adults.

He went on to attend Gordon College, where he met his wife, Alicia, and graduated in 2022 with a B.A. in Christian Ministries and a minor in Biblical Studies. Both Joseph and Alicia share a deep passion for seeing God transform the lives of students and young adults, and they are eager to serve and invest in the FCCO family.

In this new season of ministry, Joseph and Alicia hold close the promise of Isaiah 43:19: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

On Sunday, March 30, there will be one 10:30 service only, both live and in-person. There will be no classes for adults, students, or kids. The baptism class has been rescheduled to April 6 & 13.

The Beast Feast has been postponed to Thursday, August 1, from 5:00-8:30 pm!

Due to the forecasted snow & ice, Dinner Bell has been canceled for Saturday, March 29.

Due to the upcoming storm, Wednesday evening groups and classes have been canceled. Life's Healing Choices will begin April 10.
